          Joy of Rains

 

Grimacing sounds of the sky,

Shatters above so high,

But down the earth it brings a smile,

Across every life.

With the joy of blissful rains,

Happiness flows through every lane.

Commences journey of exaltation,

With beginning of rainy season.

Chilling buzz around the weather,

Sparks through the scorching summer.

Drops of water pours down the planet,

Wets the soul of every human.

In the midst of the thunder,

Forms an arch of colors.

It shines through the melody of rains,

On to the blue ocean.

Down,the earth spreads fragrance of the joy,

As the aroma of wet mud arise.

Looks like the artist sitting above,

Has painted the world with green shadow!

Celebration of the season of rains,

Grins through every face.

Mirth and joy sets across,

Deserted lands quench their thirst.

Little ones dance to the tune of shower,

And elder ones follow no sooner!

That crooked smile on wrinkled face,

Widens with the gush of rains.

Hands that grow the grains..

Wipe their tears with pouring RAINS!

Birds then sing the song of joy,

Peacock sets on to the rhythm so high,

Blossomed flowers flaunt with the breeze,

Every life sails on the waves of mist!!
